Good Neighbor Award

The Pebble Creek HOA1 Good Neighbor award is presented to the community member or members who show that extra effort in contributing to our neighborhood. For the 4th quarter of 2020 this award was presented to Sandra and Jay Gaskin. Both Jay and Sandra have served on the HOA Board, Sandra in 06-07 and Jay in 12-14 and again in 16-18. Both have served as president! Two years ago, Sandra started the Yard of the Month program to encourage people to take pride in their front yards. In 2016 Jay rejuvenated the Adopt a Highway program that keeps Stallings road clean from Reid School Road to Rutherford Road. Please congratulate Jay and Sandra and thank them for helping make Pebble Creek the great neighborhood that we all love!

SAVE THE DATE!

This year we are going to do something different for Christmas!

The Pebble Creek Phase One HOA will be hosting a Golf Cart Christmas Parade. This should be a LOT of fun! Decorate your golf cart for the holiday season and join in the parade or come out and watch!

The tentative parade route is Pebble Creek Drive, from Applejack to the Clubhouse.

We’ll be passing out hot chocolate and cookies and spreading some Christmas cheer!

Sunday, December 13th at 5:00.

Fall Festival is October 24th!

Happy fall, y’all!

Come on out for the Pebble Creek Fall Festival on Saturday, October 24 from 4-7 pm.

Bring your own lawn chairs, blankets, and/or golf carts and gather with your neighbors (6ft apart) under the power lines on Whittlin Way.

The HOA will provide soft drinks and water but any other beverage will be BYO. Henry’s BBQ will be on-site selling dinner from their Hog Hauler from 4:30 - 6:30. We’ll have activities for kids and a few door prizes.

Please RSVP on Facebook so that we’ll know how many of our neighbors to expect.

(We ask that everyone observe social distancing guidelines. Masks are encouraged but not required. Disposable masks and hand sanitizer will be available.)

Community Yard Sale

It’s time for the annual Pebble Creek Phase 1 Community Yard Sale!

Set up in your own yard/driveway. If you are participating, please email jessicalmensing@gmail.com so that you can be added to the event map. We will post signs at our neighborhood entrances leading up to sale day.

Yard sale day is Saturday, September 26th from 8am - Noon.

As you shop, please be mindful of the current social distancing guidelines.

COVID-19 and Social Distancing

Please do your part to protect our neighborhood! We understand that this is a difficult and strange time for everyone. Please do the responsible thing and stay home unless you need to leave for essential reasons. Please do not gather at your neighbor’s house during this time especially if you cannot abide by the current social distancing guidelines of staying 6ft apart. It only takes one infected person to spread the coronavirus across our neighborhood as many of us frequent the same stores and gas stations and visit the same restaurants for take out food. Please remember even the healthiest person can contract and spread this virus to those who may be more susceptible and who are at higher risk for complications. You may not be worried about your own health but let's do what we can to keep our neighbors healthy, too. As always, please contact us if you have any concerns within our community.

COMMUNITY INFORMATIONAL MEETING

Thursday, March 12 @ Velocity Church   7:00 PM

The Homeowners Association of Pebble Creek Phase 1 is working toward having a traffic light installed at the intersection of Roberts Road and Stallings Road.  The traffic continues to increase, cars are moving fast and the visibility is poor for those trying to pull out onto Stallings, making this a hazardous spot.  Attending the meeting will be members of the SC Department of Transportation, the Greenville County Sheriff's Department, and representatives from the Greenville-Pickens Area Transportation Study (GPATS). We are also expecting local legislators Rep. Adam Morgan and Senator Dwight Loftis.

We are expecting the DOT to explain the requirements for installing a new traffic light and discuss safety concerns for that area.  We are also very interested to hear about Horizon2040, which is GPATS long-range plan for our county, and to find out how it will affect the Pebble Creek/ Stallings Road area.  Homeowners will have the opportunity to ask questions and share concerns.

This message goes out to members of Pebble Creek Phase 1.  If you have friends or family who are members of other HOAs or communities who might be interested in attending, please feel free to forward this information along.
